I've found that you can change your Nintendo Stars to Wii Points here... http://wiipointscard.nintendo-europe.com, however I've been checking for a while and they never have any up for grabs.

Ahem... I smell a ripoff.

First steps in leather.

I see nothing wrong with a leather suit... Indeed I've owned one now for a lot of years. This is my latest - the waistcoat and trousers are from Higgs Leather (specially selected leather, not the cheaper option).


I was asked recently about my starting out in leather; well one of the first men I really appreciated it on was back in the late 80's and early 90's. The TV programme was Bread and the character was Joey.
For the first few years Joey was played by Peter Howitt (yes, Sliding Doors, that one).
However I preferred how Graham Bickley wore it from season 4 onwards. He was playing the same character, but he wore it as more of a suit with a waistcoat and shirt, although he mostly wore it with a blouson style jacket.
The trousers were pleated style, as was fashionable back in the day.

Trevor's 80th

It might seem unusual to have a rock/pop band for an 80th Birthday, but the birthday boy has followed us for a number of years now so it seemed apt.

The hotel it was held at was a great place. Top end of Heckmondwike; a place called Healds Hall.

It was an early start as we had to be set up by 6. The load in was quite easy although I think the staff were very surprised when we kept loading more and more boxes into the place though.

Setup went well. It was the first full length gig for a while so we ran through a few of the songs we’d not played to just brush them up. Strangely, the last few gigs had all been around an hour performance time. We had to be silent at 6:45 as the special guest was arriving for a “meal in the restaurant” but he was then told the restaurant was very busy so they were in the back room…

I have to say that like Kiwi I'm partial to the metallics. Indeed here's my current silver outfit...

Trousers - ASOS (ASOS design - now out of stock) Shirt - Amazon (search Cusfull silver shirt) T-Shirt - BHS (sadly BHS have now gone) Boots - River Island
But it's not the first metallic trousers I've ever owned as my photo archive shows; although I've got a gold shirt I've never owned a pair of gold trousers. Yet.
